FIBROMYALGIA & CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME & SOCIAL SECURITY DISABLITY BENEFITS

Obtaining Social Security Disability benefits is hard enough even when you are suffering from a clearly debilitating disorder. However, recently the Social Security Administration has determined that they will consider both Fibromyalgia and CFS to be a "medically determinable impairment."

It is important that with any disabling condition, an applicant for social security disability coverage has appropriate medical treatment, and more importantly, proper documentation. In addition to well documented medical treatment, keeping a symptom diary may be helping in understanding and expressing how your symptoms interfere with your daily life.
