Tomorrow is Election Day. No, it’s not the one that gets all the recognition, but it is a very important election – especially for those involved.
On August 26, 2014, Florida holds its Primary Election. Because Florida has Closed Primaries, only voters registered with a political party may vote in that party’s primary election. However, all voters may vote on all nonpartisan races. Although the Primary Elections decide who will be running in the General Election, that is not the case for the Judges nominations. Whoever wins tomorrow will become a judge with no further elections. Thus, your vote matters.
No matter what political party you are, go out and vote tomorrow! It is a treasured right that our forefathers fought for. It is one of the most important obligations an American has. Voting makes us who we are as a City, State, and Country.
If you are in Pinellas County, . You can also . If you don’t know where to vote, .
There you go – no excuses, now go vote!
