Workers’ Compensation Mileage Reimbursement Rate Increased

Florida lawmakers recently increased the state’s mileage reimbursement rate from 29 cents per mile to 44 and one-half cents per mile. Although the employers and carriers are not required to follow the state’s mileage reimbursement rate, the state rate has long served as a guideline throughout the industry to uniformly calculate an injured worker’s medical mileage reimbursement.

If you feel the workers’ compensation carrier is not paying the right rate for mileage reimbursement, please do not hesitate to contact Attorney Matthew Noyes at 727-796-8282.
