Social Security Disability Checks Will Increase in 2014

The Social Security Administration recently announced that monthly Social Security Disability (SSD) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits for nearly 63 million Americans will increase 1.5 percent in 2014. The 1.5 percent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) will begin for SSD recipients in January 2014. According to CNNMoney.com, the latest adjustment will add about $19 to monthly.
